How to uninstall vJoy – Method one
In this first method, we are going to show you the easiest method of them all. We are going to utilize the Windows start menu.
Step 1 – open Windows start menu
We will start with an easy one, let’s open the Windows start menu, which is located on the bottom left corner of your screen.
Step 2 – Click on ALL PROGRAMS
You will now see the whole menu appear, but we are looking for the ALL PROGRAMS submenu, which is (usually) located on the bottom of the list.
Note: my Windows is in German, that’s why my screenshot doesn’t say All Programs, but yours will.
Step 3 – Click on vJoy
From all the results we are now looking for the vJoy submenu.
Step 4 – Click UNINSTALL VJOY and confirm by clicking YES
You will now see all of the installed components of vJoy, one of which is the built-in uninstaller. Click on UNINSTALL VJOY to launch the uninstaller, then confirm uninstallation by clicking YES.
How to uninstall vJoy – Method two
In this method, we are going to teach you how to uninstall programs in Windows 10, by utilizing the Apps & Features settings option.
Step 1 – type REMOVE into the search bar, then click on ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS
Also in this method, we are going to start with an easy one. Just type REMOVE into the search bar, which on Windows 10 is located on the bottom left of your screen.
Within all the suggested search results look for ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS, now click on it to open it.
Step 2 – type vJoy it the search bar
You will now see a list of all programs and apps you have installed on your computer. In my case, it is over 80! To make our search easier, we are going to use the provided search bar, so type VJOY in there to proceed.
Step 3 – click on VJOY program name, then confirm by clicking UNINSTALL
Great, you will now see Windows has filtered the list way down, actually, you should now see only one result. To proceed let’s do these following steps:
- start by clicking on the program name (vJoy Device Driver), you will see UNISTALL button appear
- click on the UNINSTALL button, you will now see a second UNINSTALL button appear
- to start uninstallation, confirm by click the UNINSTALL again
Step 4 – confirm uninstall by clicking YES
You just started the uninstaller and all you have to do now is click YES, to confirm that you want to uninstall vJoy. Congrats!
How to uninstall vJoy – Method three
In this third and last method, we will be teaching you how to uninstall vJoy utilizing the Programs and Features Windows settings option.
Step 1 – Type CONFIGURE VJOY into the search bar, look for Configure vJoy App
We will start again by typing into the Windows search bar, but this time you will type CONFIGURE VJOY into the search bar.
You then have to look for Configure vJoy, with marking as APP (important) among the search results.
Step 2 – right click the Configure vJoy App and click UNINSTALL
Now that you found Configure vJoy (app) in your search results, you will have to click on it with your right mouse button. Then select Uninstall from the context menu that appears.
Step 3 – double click vJoy Device driver
You will now see a list of programs that you have installed on your computer. This list is by default organized alphabetically by the first letter of the program name. So scroll down to the letter V as we are looking for vJoy Device driver program.
Double click on the program name to initiate the uninstallation process.
Step 4 – confirm uninstall, click YES
All there’s left to do is for you to confirm that you intend to uninstall vJoy from your computer, so just click YES to answer the below question.
