In this guide, we would like to teach you how to uninstall Wrye Bash from your Windows 10 computer.

How to uninstall Wrye Bash – Method one
In this first method, I will show you, how to uninstall Wrye Bash utilizing the Apps & Features Windows 10 settings option.
Step 1 – Write REMOVE into the search bar and open ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS
We will start with an easy one. Let’s go to our search bar in the bottom left corner and type REMOVE in it. You will now see a few suggestions appear.
Search for and click to open ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS.
Step 2 – Type WRYE into the search bar
You just opened Apps & Features settings windows, here you will see a list of all programs and apps that you have installed on your computer. As you can see there are quite a few programs here, so to make our search easier let’s use the provided search bar.
Let’s type WRYE into the search bar to filter down the list.
Step 3 – Click on Wrye Bash and Uninstall
You successfully managed to filter down the list to just one program – Wrye Bash. Start uninstallation by:
- start by clicking on Wrye Bash program name, you will see UNINSTALL button appear
- now click on the UNINSTALL button and now the second UNINSTALL button pops up
- click on the second UNINSTALL button to confirm, that you want to start the uninstallation
Step 4 – Click NEXT three times, then confirm by clicking UNINSTALL
Great, you have just managed to successfully start the Wrye Bash uninstaller. You will have to click the NEXT button a total of 3 times and then click UNINSTALL button in order to start. And you are done, you just uninstalled Wrye Bash!
How to uninstall Wrye Bash – Method two
In this second method, I would like to show you the Wrye Bash uninstallation method, that utilizes its own uninstaller located in the start menu. Let’s get to it.
Step 1 – Open Start Menu and click on All Programs
Great, let’s start by opening the Start menu, which you can do by clicking the Windows logo in the bottom left corner, right next to the search bar.
From there look for and open ALL PROGRAMS.
Note: my screenshot below doesn’t say ALL PROGRAMS, that’s because I don’t have an English language computer. Yours will say ALL PROGRAMS, or it’s equivalent in your language
Step 2 – Find and open Wrye Bash folder
There will now be a lot of items showing, what you need to look for is the Wrye Bash folder, which should be right at the bottom of the list.
Step 3 – Click on UNINSTALL
Let’s open the Wrye Bash folder now, inside of which is a link to the uninstaller we are looking for. So click on UNINSTALL to start it.
Step 4 – Click NEXT three times and UNINSTALL to confirm uninstallation
Great, you just opened the uninstaller, and to proceed click NEXT a total of three times. To confirm the uninstallation, click UNINSTALL. You will now see the uninstaller do its thing and Wrye Bash will be uninstalled.
How to uninstall Wrye Bash – Mehtod three
This third method is a great option if you for some reason don’t have the link to the uninstaller in the start menu, as we spoke about in method two. Let’s get to it.
Step 1 – Type FILE EXPLORER into the sear bar and open it from results
Let’s start again with an easy one, this time we will type FILE EXPLORER into the Windows 10 search bar. Among all the suggested results look for File Explorer marked as APP. Got it? Let’s open it then.
Step 2 – type C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Wrye Bash into address bar
I know this is supposed to be an easy guide and this feels super challenging, but trust me, it isn’t.
First thing’s first, click into the address bar, right next to the text, into the white field. Then you can type there, so type this command and remember you can just copy it from here and paste it in, you don’t have to type it in per se:
C:\Program FIles (x86)\Common Files\Wrye Bash
This command will bring you inside the installation folder of Wrye Bash.
Step 3 – Open uninstaller by clicking UNISTALL
After the previous step, this one will feel like a piece of cake. Now that you are inside the Wrye Bash installation folder, you will see a program there, called Uninstall. Open it to start the Wrye Bash Uninstaller.
Step 4 – click NEXT three times, then click UNINSTALL to finish uninstallation
You have just successfully started the Wrye Bash uninstaller. You will now have to click NEXT three times while minding setting options for each window that you confirm. Then just click UNINSTALL to get Wrye Bash uninstalled.
How to uninstall Wrye Bash – Easy (paid) method
I have decided to show you this method as well, even though it involves a paid program, but it is by far the easiest one of them all.
There are many reasons, why you should use a professionally built uninstallation program, but the most important of them all is: They are super easy to use, with very little learning involved.
You will be able to uninstall any program, with just 2 clicks.

Let me show you how easy it is to remove Wrye Bash in one of my favorite tools the Special Uninstaller.
Step 1 – Click on Wrye Bash, the click Run Uninstaller
Once you open Special Uninstaller from your desktop, all you do is select Wrye Bash from the list and click Run Uninstaller. Confirm the uninstallation by clicking YES.
Step 2 – Click NEXT three times, then confirm by clicking UNINSTALL
Similar to the other 3 methods, this will open the Wrye Bash uninstaller, where you have to confirm 3 different windows by clicking NEXT (mind the settings though), and to finish uninstall click UNINSTALL.
